Fast and Furious Documents to be Released

BORDERPATROL-DEATH

Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, 40, was shot and killed in Arizona just north of the Mexican border after encountering what authorities said was a group of bandits known for robbing illegal immigrants as soon as they crossed the border.

Kent Terry told Fox News, “I think about him daily. There isn’t a second that goes by that I don’t think of him. He’s my hero.” in regards to his deceased brother, former border agent Brian Terry.

Terry told Fox News that while on the campaign trail, President Trump spoke to him and promised to look into the gun running program that led to the death of Brian Terry if elected.

He referred to this conversation in a viral tweet that got the ball rolling on the Justice Department’s current course of action.

Yesterday, the Justice Department said it would turn over documents withheld by former  Obama Era Attorney General Eric Holder related to the Fast and Furious operation during the Obama administration.

The Justice Department and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee entered into a conditional settlement agreement. This agreement was filed in federal court in Washington and brings six years of litigation arising out of the previous administration’s refusal to produce records requested by the committee to an end.

“The Department of Justice under my watch is committed to transparency and the rule of law,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Wednesday. “This settlement agreement is an important step to make sure that the public finally receives all the facts related to Operation Fast and Furious.”

Will the Benghazi families see the release of additional documentation related to the September 11th 2012 attack in Libya? What Obama era documents would you like to see released? Share your opinions in the comments section below.
